⚠️ A 2.5-Hour Nightmare: My Maddening Experience with Their Broken Website


I'm writing this as a warning about my absolutely maddening experience trying to buy glasses online. The website was so messed up it took me 2-1/2 hours to purchase two pairs of glasses. The most infuriating part was that I was not able to type in my prescription and save it to continue my purchase. Now, I have to be sent an email so I can type in the information that I already typed in on their silly web site. The entire process was so very frustrating and certainly a waste of my time. I felt I had no choice but to call their customer service and share my experience, hoping they could at least fix it.

Customer: I just spent over two hours on your website trying to buy two pairs of glasses! The site wouldn't save my prescription, and now I have to wait for an email to enter it all over again. This is completely ridiculous. CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the trouble and frustration you've experienced. Wasting that much time is unacceptable, and I sincerely apologize for the website error. I can definitely help you with this. Customer: It's not just about getting help. Your whole system is broken. Why should I have to do the work twice? I am not sure I will ever attempt to order from Glasses USA ever again after this. CS Rep: I completely understand your hesitation, and your feedback is critical for us to improve. To make this right, I can take your prescription information over the phone right now and apply a discount to your order for the severe inconvenience you've faced. Customer: Fine, let's do that. But you really need to fix your website. This was a terrible experience. CS Rep: I agree, and I've escalated this technical issue. Thank you for your patience. Let's get this sorted out for you now.
