Buyer Beware: A Nightmare of Broken Warranties & Vanishing Credits 😠
I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying glasses online. My experience has been a complete nightmare, and I feel utterly robbed. To put it simply, this place is the worst. I've ordered glasses with added warranty and needed a replacement due to the frame breaking and each time I've needed a lens replacement they tell me my choice of frame is out of stock and will therefore he receiving a store credit plus a small % which doesn't make sense then how do I end up with a cheaper and lighter pair than the previous? I'm so tired of dealing with this crap… a total joke and robbery. I felt I had to call customer service one last time before sharing my story publicly.
Customer: My order started at $189. I paid for a warranty and a deductible, the frame broke, you say it's out of stock, and now my credit is only worth around $130. How is that fair?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry for the frustration this has caused. I see your order history. When a warrantied frame is discontinued, our policy is to issue a store credit for the value paid so you can choose a new pair.
Customer: But it's not for the value paid! It's less every single time. It feels like you're just stealing my money with these fake credits and out-of-stock excuses.
